TAP Gives Back Volunteer Event - Vancouver (In-Person)

Connect with your TAP Network community, while building Vancouver's tech community!

TAP Network has partnered with Purposely to offer our members a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact for women in tech, and we encourage you to participate in our volunteer community building event, in support of YWCA Tech Connect. YWCA’s Tech Connect program is a free 10-week program that supports newcomer self-identifying women with experience in IT to secure rewarding careers in the tech industry. A component of this program is focused on employment coaching, and this is where we come in! We’ll be helping Tech Connect participants with resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews and feedback, and light networking.

We’re excited to support Tech Connect, as it’s a fantastic opportunity for our members to use their expertise to help increase the representation of women in the tech workforce. We need approximately 20 people to sign up for this 2-hour event!

For those who are volunteering at this YWCA Tech Connect event AND participating in the Winter Social (you’re awesome!), we’ll walk over to Rogue Kitchen together. Click HERE for the Winter Social registration details.
