End-of-Year Reflections from the TAP Network Team
As we close out another extraordinary year at TAP Network, we want to pause, reflect, and extend a huge, heartfeltthank you to the people who make this community so special.
Since its humble beginnings, over 30 years ago, TAP has always been a member-driven, volunteer-powered nonprofit organization. The strength of our network comes directly from the individuals who step forward to share their time, their expertise, their leadership, and their passion for elevating people and culture in Canada’s tech sector.
This year, thanks to this community, TAP successfully hosted 66 events across the country — a conference, webinars, roundtables, in-person learning events, socials, and meet-ups. Every one of these was made possible because members and volunteers raised their hands to support, lead, and create space for learning and connection.
A Year Built by Volunteers
From our roundtable hosts to our steering committee members, ambassadors, and board leaders, our volunteers are the foundation and pillars of TAP Network. Whether you contributed to a roundtable, organized a peer learning group, led a discussion, mentored a peer, or sparked community through meetups in your region — your contributions shaped this year’s success.
A special shout-out to the many leaders who volunteered their time as mentors in TAP’s 2025 Mentoring Program. While we won’t list everyone individually, please know how deeply grateful we are for your guidance and generosity. Your support is helping to foster growth for people-and-culture leaders across the tech sector.
