Promoting Socio-Economic Inclusion in the Workplace: Employee Resource Group (ERG) Roundtable
DEIB/ERG Roundtable Description:
This roundtable is open to all TAP Network members and will provide space for safe (and brave) conversations on issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
This session will focus on socio-economic inclusion; how class, income, and access to opportunity shape belonging in the workplace. Participants will also explore points of intersection between socio-economic background and other equity-deserving identities, such as race, disability, gender, and Indigeneity, and discuss practices that foster equitable access and participation across all groups.
This year’s roundtable supports two objectives:
- To share learnings on DEIB strategy and implementation within the tech industry.
- To serve as a topical discussion space for members belonging to or advocating for equity-seeking and equity-deserving groups.
