We’re excited to announce that the DEIB / ERG Roundtable will be starting again this fall! This roundtable is open to all TAP Network members and provides space for safe (and brave) conversations on issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
This session will focus on immigration bias and its impact on workplace inclusion, career advancement, and employee well-being. Participants will explore how assumptions related to immigration status, nationality, accent, language proficiency, cultural background, and international work experience can influence hiring, development opportunities, team dynamics, and belonging.
The discussion will also examine the intersection of immigration experiences with other equity-deserving identities, including race, ethnicity, gender, disability, and religion, and highlight practices that foster equitable and inclusive workplaces for newcomers and immigrant employees.
